On Thursday 22 February, Cranbrook Residences celebrated its Official Opening, in conjunction with Bella Vista Gardens. The event was attended by residents and their families from the local community who congregated in a marquee on The Green, at Bella Vista Gardens.
It was a beautiful day and there were over 150 guests who attended. The event commenced with CEO Kerry Mann making an opening address and presenting the newest residents with gifts. Alan Jones, as a long-time advocate and commentator on the importance of security for seniors who are leading into retirement, spoke articulately and engagingly about the benefits of residing at Bella Vista Gardens and Cranbrook Residences. He reiterated his belief in the importance that mental wellbeing and lifestyle plays in the lives of residents, as well as the physical surroundings. He spoke of Cranbrook Care’s focus on the delivery of quality, age appropriate living for mature Australians, that is reflected in the architecturally designed residences.
The local Member for Parliament, Member for Baulkham Hills, the Honourable David Elliott also spoke, and outlined the benefits of residing at the residences, as well as canvassing some of the issues that face older Australians as they age and consider moving into retirement.
Overall, the event was a great success, with the large number of attendees and the positive feedback provided. Guests were able to enjoy listening to the live Jazz Band and enjoyed the canapes and drinks that were provided, as well as having the option to tour the residences and make more formal enquiries. Congratulations to all on a wonderful event!
